extract from the Cataloge: 'Albany Art Prize 2016'.

My studio work for some years has been concerned with formal issues of shape, colour, composition, and scale via the assemblage of painted plywood panels. I spend considerable time making, ordering and constructing maquettes that follow strict and self-imposed proportional rules. I am constantly intrigued how individual works affect the architectural space they inhabit.

The forms in PAN –ARCH #6V2 are painted according to intuitive systems and use a limited combination of strong colour. The flat–painted panels combined with the raw plywood present a simple low-relief geometry.
